In 2006 we set out to redefine what a design studio portfolio experience could become. Where we ended up was one of the first examples of creating an entire site experience entirely in video. For the relaunch of wddg.com, we created a 1950's news reel that encompassed everything WDDG.
Every frame was meticulously designed to mimic the look of these old film reels. The voice over spoke all of the content within the site while period music blared over the animation. We even created a 6 minute traditional animation piece that told the story of how WDDG goes from concept to production.
