To advertising the upcoming psychological thriller Identity, Sony Pictures challenged us to immerse the audience into the film to prepare them for what they will see in theaters. The result was a first-of-its-kind experience that threw traditional user experience out the window and introduced visitors to a non-linear interactive journey through the multiple personalities of the subject of the film. This experience introduced many techniques that became standards in site design and animation in the years to follow.
